Cherokee KK

2008 - 2013

The body of the Cherokee, alias Liberty, displayed somewhat distinctly sharper lines after 2004. The technology beneath the steel initially remained unchanged until the power therapy adopted at Jeep took effect in 2007.

The basic gasoline engine was now a V6. The four-cylinder diesel unit increased in 2011 to 2776 cm³ and now had a generous 200 HP (147 kW) producing a mighty 400 Newton meters of torque. The transmission also grew: six-speed manual gearbox or five-speed automatic gearbox. Besides permanent power transmission to all four wheels there was also rear-wheel drive for economically minded road drivers.
